Above: Chantecaille pinks...Lip Chics in Primrose and Wildrose and Brilliant Gloss in Pretty. |
I never need an excuse to embrace the lovely Chantecaille line or wear pink lips...both are favorites in my beauty routine. That being said, I was excited to try three distinctly rosy Chantecaille lip products, utterly apropos for the warmer months to come.

First up, the
Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Pretty...this hydrating jelly pink with micro-shimmer makes the lips look juicy and full. I love the non-sticky texture and lasting power as well; pigmented enough to be worn on its own, it is still delightfully less bright than it appears in the tube.

The official details according to Nordstrom:
Brilliant Gloss is a non-sticky lip gloss with vegetal-based cross-linked sugars that naturally and safely plump lips. An innovative system of elastic polymers and shiny emollient oil creates long-lasting wear. Enhanced with green tea to protect and calm lips.

Next is the gorgeous Lip Chic formula in
Primrose and
Wild Rose. This innovative lip color-meets-gloss hybrid is highly moisturizing and deposits rich, sheer color while maintaining a semi-glossy finish. I find that I get 3-4 hours of very comfortable wear before feeling the need to touch up. It is scent-free, friendly to sensitive lips and entirely sophisticated.
The official details according to Nordstrom:
Lip Chic is a revolutionary hybrid that combines the rich, even coverage of a lipstick with the high-shine and plumping effects of a gloss. It goes on with an incredibly soft, lightweight texture as it helps to smooth and firm the lips. Added collagen gives lips a boost, leaving them fuller and decidedly more youthful in appearance, while never irritating.

Primrose is a beautiful glowing baby pink; its light yet pigmented and looks amazing on its own, especially with a subtle, smoky eye. Because it has a cool-toned depth, even those who may be "pale pink phobic" will surely find contentment with this delicate shade.

Wild Rose is Primrose's sassy older sister. This vibrant bright rose coats lips in a lovely veil of flushed color that, albeit bolder, is completely wearable. Although I generally tend to shy away from from deeper lip color, I am comfortable embracing this particular shade when I am feeing a bit adventurous!

In sum, these radiance-drenched pinks from Chantecaille should not be missed. While all in the same color family, the swatch above demonstrates how the variance in undertones makes these three undoubtedly distinct. With springtime in our midst, shades like these compel our lips to be in full bloom!

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this festival of pink lip color from Chantecaille...I had a brilliant time showcasing these superb rosy hues, otherwise known as
Pretty,
Primrose and
Wild Rose, and hope your springtime lip wardrobe is inspired by these shades.
